A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. But don't forget to tell him whether you need a split or solid block. And you'll need to tell him what you've already got. Don't forget that the highest size is +.075 UNLESS you want a +.090" sten blade that is only permitted as a last resort.

For the info of all, there was an article written a few years ago about the variations and reasons for there being soooooooo many variables of sight, block heights and limits. Maybe it's time for one of you computer literate forumers to resurrect the article........

That's the one - the second one. Or better still a mix of the two. But don't forget that these sizes only relate to Mk7 ball ammo!
