I found this this old photo on the internet some years ago and it said:

Interesting to see the troops from India using the Pattern 1903 bayonet, rifles
could be Mark 1** IP upgraded to Mark lll too ?Attachment 79333

The Indians preferred the 03 to the 07 and kept them on longer than the UK

I like the 1903 better too, the blade was more to the point for it's use.
