    Just my opinion, but that response was disgusting customer service..

    I would contact them again and request escalation to a senior manager, asking politely they review this incident along with your pics and give you a formal corporate email response.

    Tell them that you've been advised that you require a formal management response as to their final position and disposition of your claim, so you can take the next steps to obtain satisfaction.

    Did you pay by credit card? If so, have you made a claim to the credit company to cancel the payment to Century?
