I do have quite the achieve of former firearms Jim. I had a superb Remington NMA about the same time, really crisp, unfortunately other projects forced me to sell it. I had plans to put that one on FAC and shoot it, it was really nice..

On the same subject, my Father in Law bought an absolutely stunning Colt Army before Christmas, he told me it was good, but it's an absolute stunner, like new matching numbers, with 98%+ original bluing, perfect bore and really tight action, doesn't look like it's ever been fired, you would think it had been stored in a barrel full of oil for 150 years!

I must borrow it and photograph it for you guys to enjoy too..

Best part, he paid £1250 for it, bargain of the century or what!

The 36 caliber Navy model is a martially marked Second Model, Fourth Type based on the serial number range. Made in 1862-63. The Pocket 31 caliber is also a Second Model, Fourth Type based on the number of rifling grooves. Made in 1864ish.

The little one has been redone? Red hue to the frame and the bird's eye maple grip...? Nice revolvers...
    Regards, Jim
