    NATO German Paratrooper Gravity Knife

Most of these were a complete mess but I did find this one after lots of digging. Blade had a small dent in it that I was able to mostly remove.

Nice, it's been about three decades since I saw mine...it was handy you could strip them for cleaning too.

Now illegal to sell in the UKicon & Most EU Countries! ALL Gravity Knives!

You can still buy them without blades in, over in Germanyicon.

Sooooo.....What you do is. Take the blade out, sell the grip assembly. & give a 'free' separate blade!.......Yep, Go Figure?.........

    Cool

Mine is dated 1957. I've had it for 35+ yrs. It is a copy of the WW 2 issued knife.
Don't think I've ever picked up this later version, probably should, but?

In our case, illegal to own, there's no side door in this one.

I assume they are legal here as I was told there were 8 Federal agents policing the gun show undercover. Now I don't know if that's true or not but is what I was told by the fellow I bought the Enfield from. This was their first show and perhaps the old timers were telling them a story. There were police at the door checking firearms coming in. I've never seen the police actually enter any show, just at the front door. Switchblades are supposed to be illegal but I've seen a lot of them in my lifetime. They have a mechanical open feature which the gravity knives do not.

I have the same model as this. It lives in the side pocket of my range bag.
