Very nice. I can't imagine why the military would want a little stubby mag though, is it issue?

    Hello my friend,

    Congratulations on your ZB.

Is the carry handle the same as the Bren?

The butt plate will be hard to find. You could try a Want To Buy advertisement (WTB) in the WTS/WTB/WTT (Want to Sell, Buy or Trade) Forum. Maybe someone has one in their parts bin.

Will a Mk1 Bren butt plate fit? Or maybe a Bren 2 butt plate until you find a ZB plate?

The wooden carry handle seems to be the same of btrn MKII.... what do you think?

The Bren Butt plate is narrower than ZB ...

Nice job making the handle on a metal lathe.

Yes, it does look like a Bren Mk2 handle. BREN Barrel Parts

Butt plate looks very close to Mk1 Bren.
