Ok, now i understand!
I have tried the work you mention, but its a very hard steel ,and i have no way to strike without deforming its ends or grinding the thread....

Luis the FAO buttstock is the ZB26 type without the mounting socket.The FAO butt plate 'should' fit OK on your ZB30.
