Mostly if it groups and you no longer have issues with shooting it due to bore obstruction, then you win.

    Yup....

There where no calling shots on this test run.
Glad to see windage was darn close and able to at least get a group...
I was only shooting for a group. Lucked out to get lined up in the black that quick.

My next rifle I will just set at 300m and shoot all 12 shots for group... should be darn close as I have had this one out before BUT with a different powder. About the same velocity.

Group is easy, it falls wherever it falls. I think you mean it was nice it fell where you could prove it to us? Yes, close to correct is nice.

Today.... Temp 38' Wind 15mph , rain 50 yards..... range was flooded to over my boots so 50 yards it was.
This is one of my other Arisakaicon's
not great but not terrible either 12 shots rear sight flipped up and set to "3" figured it was god for the last one? I think the stringing is more me than anything. That pointy front sight is a bugger to see and place. I aimed at 6 O'clock.

Next Rifle up is my "better" of the bunch. Bore is nice except one little crud spot 1:51 right hand side

    Rifle #150
    Kokura series 20 I believe
trigger pull is a nice 7.5#s and brakes pretty darn clean. All 3 could use a little work. I figure when I find the one I like the best I will clean it up real good.

So far the last rifle is the best.
I think if I could get a "standard" front sight post groups would tighten up. I loose the "point" of the triangle front sight

Try brightening it up with a dab of white? Carefully cover the rear with white...you'll have a white inverted triangle.
