Really you can't tell it's a bolt face and worn dirty barrel?
    Anyway

It's a cheap 14$ bore scope of the inside of the bore. Yes it's shaky it's a cheap POS bore scope. The last minute or so I didn't press the stop button.
I will do my best to make the video a touch better after I clean the bore.

It's not that I can't tell it's a barrel and bolt face, you just didn't really explain what it was you were showing, before, after, middle? Video isn't really clear either. If this is just the before, then it makes sense. I will be interested to see how the after turns out to compare it.

It's as clear as a 14$ bore scope will be. There is no focus control.
Since I'm PC stupid I can't figure out how to edit my post to change it a bit.

So far a quick cleaning reveals a good amount of pitting.,

    99 all cleaned up

This rifle was brought home by a families uncle in 1945 from Luzon. I have a photocopy of him the rifle bayonet and the flag. I do not think this bore was cleaned anytime after 1945 until now. Its well pitted It took about 3 hours to get it free of fouling...
At least it appears to have some rifling left

Once you shoot it a bit and scrub again it might be better, pitted still but better.
    Regards, Jim

Looks like rust lying right besides the lands. I have a carcano that is probably a bit worse than that, has decent rifling but I'm half afraid to fire it. Exterior looks great so as is makes a good display piece. I keep thinking about shooting it to try to crush some of the rust out of it but am concerned it could bulge the barrel. I may try the electrolysis bath yet. I have two barrels that I want to do.
