looking for dads WW2 SPRINGLIELD Garand

I am looking for my dads WW2 Springfield Garandicon serial 1007815. Can you guys check to see if you might have it. I have the letter he wrote home telling of getting his new Garand. They were told to name their Garand. He named his Ann after his girlfriend back home.

    Hi,

I checked on the de-militarized list and it wasn't there, so may still be out there.

    Good Luck

I take it you didn't look at the list I published a link to, it shows it being privately owned in '09...specifically.

I found one of the three I own on that list too. Thanks for posting a link to it. I had forgotten about it.

Mine is there too, or it WAS mine. SA 328219. It shows "Guest" which was me. I think the list is still important as accounting for existence if not where they actually are. At least one can start there.

Also checking the website the listed owner of the OPs rifle is still active (was last on in early March)
