    My enfield n 4 T scope

Hello to all. I have a enfield t. until a few months ago no problem, but now.
Usually I shot at 100 mt and 200 mt by adjusting the drum on the notches 300 and 400, and the drift 5. Now more and firing the same ammunition at 100 meters, I have to adjust the drum at 500 mt and drift 12. I checked the screws of the attacks and are narrow. It seems that the telescope will be wrong. Does anyone have a suggestion.
    Thank you and good day

Wind the range drum from 0 to 10 and make sure that the central reverse headed part (this is the lead screw that controls the up and down movement of the graticle) also rotates with the drum. The lead screw MUST be firmly locked to the drum.
NOW do the same 0 to 10 again several times but look through the telescope and see that the tip of the graticle moves up and down as you rotate the drum. And that it always comes to rest at the same visual point at each end of the range scale.

Repeat this with the deflection drum.

It would appear that the range lead screw is not locked to the drum and the same to a slightly lesser degree with the deflection drum. You can positively lock the lead screw to the drum via the leas screw locking nut. But do not wrench it down like you are tightening a lorry wheel nuts. It's just got to lock the screw down

    Good morning.
I thought I had solved the problem but did not.
I used the 'appropriate tool to center the crosshairs. I noticed that the pin and 'as if slipping, and no depreciation corresponding to the revolutions of the drum

I believe you are saying that the brass/bronze lead screw still does not rotate consistently with the drum itself. Is that correct?

Or do you mean the lead screw, locking ring and drum do rotate consistently together, but the reticule does not move consistently as the drum is rotated?

    Google Translate
