    17-4-11 Garand Pictureof the Day - SANHS

    Todays photos are a submission of Bob Seijasicon

    These rifles are located at the Springfield Armory National Historic site



    Here's a pair that would be educational side-by-side: The First 80 or The Model Shop Guns built 1933-35 and the first mass production serial built 1937. 81 was not the first gun finished because it reportedly failed its test firings, the first gun actually completed was #87.
