    Loewe M1893 Mauser

    Found this one yesterday..had been looking for another possible SpanAm 1893, and there she was, sitting on a table at the gun show.
    It is missing the mag follower and floorplate, but otherwise is all there. Bore is not the worlds worst...the last one I had had become a smoothbore.
    Of interest is the Oviedo button rear sight in place of the Germanicon made latch style.
    Serial number is D8160.
    There are four very small holes in a square on the right of the butt, looks as though a plaque may have been there at some point.
    Going to try to post pics, just moved, so Im having to try this from my phone.
