    Gewehr 71/84 sling

Has anyone any idea where one can find a Gewehr 71/84 sling? I've done the usual searches on eBay, IMA, Numrich, etc. and found nothing. If you know of something that ships to Canadaicon please share!

Bonus points for a mag cap/stacking rod!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Good luck with that one. How about an ad on CGN? Or perhaps here with the proviso it resides in Canadaicon now? I should also think Australiaicon or UKicon could ship here too without going to jail?
    Regards, Jim

I have bought almost every sling I have off of ebay. This would include the 71/84. There are a couple of guys that specialize in the older slings. They do not always have their listings up, they don't always have every sling they list up. If you find a seller of older slings, send them a message and ask for the one you are after and they will most likely list it for you. I've gotten a couple that way. They are reproductions of course. Originals you may have to wait for years for one to be listed and then the price will be very high.

A repro would do fine. The 71/84 I have isn't in collector condition so I don't mind settling for a repro. At any rate I shall give your suggestions a shot and you have my thanks.

Patience with ebay is the key, eventually, almost anything you are after will come up. Just takes time. I wish I could remember who it was that I bought the older ones off of but it's probably been a year since I last looked for one of the hard to get ones. It won't be a Chinese seller, I can tell you that much, price range most likely around $40 also. These guys make them themselves, there's one in the US and one in Poland that I've dealt with. The last two difficult slings I sought were a Radom sling and a KAR 98 sling so it you search for those types, that might get you to the right guys.

I think I know which Polish guy you're talking about -- east_sector -- I might have dealt with him in the past.

There is a guy in the US that makes very nice repros.

He is usually on ebay, but I don`t see him there right now.
