    P-51

    Hi Guys,

During my cruising the net a couple of nights ago I came upon an up coming auction for a 1944 P-51 that need a lot of work. It has been hangered for many years. Way out of my price bracket but I would suppose there are those with enough dollars to refurbish it. The article come-on said you could bid for the price of a Ford Mustang.
Just kind of nice to see that they are still out there.

So when you tell the wife you just bought a body off Mustang and need her to mover her car out of the garage...one can only speculate...how that would go.

You're not going to believe this Cinders. but while I was in Oz, there were a load of pommy RE's and RAE's clearing up the atomic bomb ranges at Maralinga. There were lots of Mustangs and other wartime aircraft, tanks, vehicles etc etc parked at various distances from GZ. Most of it was buried in situ but some, including a Mustang was flown out and still exists. Get out to Maralingra and see what you can unearth
