The French brought in piles of WWII stuff just after the end of WWII. Hard telling where anything came from, though.

I believe numbers of M1 Carbines, M3A1 Grease guns ect also came from China, the Carbines came from Korean War captured stocks (and other sources) I believe, while a good number of the M3's were Chinese copies.
I do have a photograph somewhere of an M3A1 that caught my attention while I was there, I seem to recall Chinese characters on it, need to dig out the picture and scan it.

I did wonder if some of N.V. army's and V.C. weapons could have originally been what was supplied to China by Germany in the late 1930s, no telling now?

And I think Peter has mentioned Inglis 8mm Chinese contract Brens being captured by the Aussies too.
