A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). So, here's the final projectile I produced...35mm X 228mm Bushmaster or Orlikon. I was attending a power projection in about '95 and my brother was there too. He was Arty and when I said I'd like one of those new rounds for their AA gun he trotted over and brought back two cases. Well, I wanted complete rounds...

OK so it took me 25 years and endless searching to find out what it was and what the projectile looked like. Unfortunately, I didn't really copy the projectile that closely. Also I painted it training blue to avoid a repeat of what happened in the UKicon back in about '10. All I need is someone suggesting I have a Depleted Uranium projectile in here...

I clustered them together for Cinders...center is the newest 35mm with green case and blue projectile. I took a pic with flash and one without.
    Regards, Jim

Very nice Jim I must say the flash makes the green cased one look like an art/deco piece very tidy set there bloke not much of the mid range in the 30-40mm (except the Bofor they are usually around $120-$140 AU) stuff comes up here and if it does commands a hefty tag.

Well, the projectiles for the Aden are available out of the UKicon because their helicopters use that I guess... The 35's don't ever surface that I've seen. Nor do the Aden's...I grabbed one when w local curio guy had a dozen come in. They're all long gone too. I do have smaller and bigger stuff too. I still have to make a projectile for a 105mm WW1 Germanicon shell. I need to find out what it looks like though. I'll do that out of pine I think. I have a Bofors and a 6PDR. I have one spare 35mm case too if you ever get needing one...no projectile...
    Regards, Jim
