How to take apart volley sights

So I stumbled across a Front Volley sight missing only the little aiming bead on the pointer. That being said, Its a P14 sight. I do have a lee enfield sight plate laying around I would like to swap out. How would I go about changing the plates? I have an Irish Mk1*** I am currently restoring. Another concern would be the dial arm Pointer. I know the arms are slightly different. Would they be interchangeable? Thanks Guys, Y'alls input on this forum is truly helpful.

It would not be correct to install a P-14 volley sight on an MK I. It might fit but it is much longer than the one that belongs on the MK I. I don't know how they come apart. Never held one and have wondered about it myself. If you decide to get rid of the P-14 sight, I could use it.

The little cap with the double impressions is a screw...and comes off. It could be rusted in place and you may destroy it trying...

Why not just make the arm and screw?

There is also a little round spring under there. Nice to know it's a screw. That's a mystery solved. Thanks.

They are making them for P-14's now. But the price, can almost afford an original for those prices.

$75, worth consideration I guess. Not sure on shipping though.

Well, if I wanted one I'd get it. Nothing is going to get cheaper...

I've still got a bag of the repro spanner screws and springs from EFD if in need.
