Personally I would stop there, even if only for a drink or coffee. I feel they need to know their efforts are appreciated....

In addition they must have the best screening/training programs of any service business of which I have seen. Never a bad experience.

I never really ate there much prior to the boycott against them. Mostly because when we were out wanting someplace to eat it was Sunday and they are closed. But I stood in line for an over an hour during the "boycott" and have been hooked ever since. Still need them more on Sundays than other days but I support their position. We like the food but it does seem to be almost all chicken. They are putting in a second location in an area we actually are in a lot so we expect to be eating there a lot more often soon.

The one in my area has enough business to support at least one additional location (very small footprint and inaccessible location) so I often have to pass based strictly on time constraints.
They very selective in awarding franchises.

As a matter of interest, why is there a boycotting thing against them Aragorm (thread 13)?

Chick-fil-A is owned by a Christian family that adheres to traditional Christian beliefs. I know, disgusting isn't it. Anyway. They are not open on Sundays as the Sabbath is to be a day of rest and/or worship. The owner had the gall to donate sandwiches to a traditional marriage conference. One of those type things where couples could go to learn about being better couples, living a better life, including God in your decision making, raising kids, etc. This hate filled conference was discovered by the LGBT community and the sandwiches were a blatant violation of their rights. So they called for and led a boycott against Chick-fil-A. The boycott was quite successful in increasing Chick-fil-A's sales by roughly 60% as people went and stood in lines for hours to eat food they never considered before. While the lines have since died down, their sales remain much higher than before the boycott and they are expanding at a pretty good clip. They still get a lot of press because cities such as San Francisco (just an example, not sure if they have or not) refuse to allow them to have a franchise in their city limits. College campuses are also forbidding them on campus in many locations. It's sheer stupidity as they are well known for donating their time and sandwiches to all sorts of causes including to the victims and emergency responders of the gay night club shooting in the south. They recently took food to a large group of people stranded on an interstate in a snowstorm. Most of these incidents are only reported locally and find their way around nationally on the social media circuits. Mainstream media only reports their "hate". Fun times we live in.

Their fresh lemonade, both regular and sugar-free, is fantastic.

Thanks Aragorn. That's depressed me a bit. How dare they have good Christian values. We have it here too. Read about the bakers and confectioners shop in Northern Ireland that would bake and ice a cake for an MGBGT couple - but refused to ice it with the wording of the LGBGT couples choice.

    Please support them
