A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Went to Walmart for bird seed and checked their stains out. They had both minwax and Rust-Oleum brands. Never used Rust-Oleum before but I've had issues with Minwax staining dark and took a chance on a can of Ebony Rust-Oleum. Seems to work better than the Minwax. I still havn't done the final sanding but I thought I's see what the color match would look like. This is a mix of the stain and black sharpie. Looks pretty good. Also made improvements to the East India Musket.

No thanks. I'm good. It's still an ugly little rifle but I've grown fond of it. I can't find that screw you gave me for the nose piece. I need to start going through my mugs and cups I guess, see if I dropped it into one of them. That's the last piece to finish it. It should turn up.
