    M1917 Belt ?

    Hi
I would appreciate some opinions as to if this belt is genuine. In appearance it looks very much like a M1917 mounted belt with the snap for magazine pocket. But it is dated 1941 and has maker stamp of Burlington Mills Inc
I have just never seen this pattern of belt with such a late date.

    Thanks Terry

The state the snaps are in, the oxidization looks right. The eye above the date stamp for instance...I think it's good.

    Hi Jim
Thanks for your feedback, I did some more research today and would appear that a mounted pattern belt and the 1941 date are correct.
