A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. It has been banned in Lebanon. She is Israeli. She is a tough bird from what I can gather, member of the IDF. Strong advocate for Israel.

Movie is just great. And they had some good individuals getting period weapons right. I can't say all were accurate but the Britishicon had Enfields, the Germans GEW98's and the British sniper had a P-14/1917 with a scope. The American had a trench gun. Germanicon fighter plane used to escape was a bit outdated for that late in the war. Only ones I can't say for sure were the Turks. Just couldn't ever get a good enough look at them to tell.

Was it a "G" "D" "K" series or one of the Spanish Merlin engined ones they used in the Battle of Britainicon (Adolf "Dolpho" Galland flew one in that movie.) actually I think those are in a hanger in the USAicon somewhere, it is getting pretty hard now days to find these WWII birds in flying condition as I think the last ridgy didge flying ME-109 went for a belly landing some years ago.

I try to get past the obvious fo pars they have in movies and look at the story line as long as they are close, unless they had an M1A1 going head to head with a Tiger then again we had that ridiculous movie where a current day aircraft carrier went back to Dec 7th 1941 and was just about to stop the Japaneseicon attack on Pearl when at the last minute they warped back to the present day!!!!!!

Saw it tonight only because of the WW1 theme. Was not disappointed in that aspect at all.

Banned in Syria, too. I don't think they do much movie watching these days.
