A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. The Last Bastion

Well the take over by "The Boss" is now complete that Biscuit has conquered all rooms with chairs, my library room being the last to fall, beds are a given as far as HE is concerned.
He is quite happy forcing me onto the front edge of it or if on my lap insists that he can type better than I can with constant attacks on the keyboard.
So there you have it fellows it was sure nice to see another side of the forum with owners sharing pics who have pets and those that have been touched by their un-selfless companionship in their lives.

So the 11th of July is the fig day and no doubt a black day for Biscuit but it is one of our laws that cats & dogs are newted and microchipped as well as being licensed by the owner.

    Cheers fellas.

Postscript 2nd pic ~ Well here is the last one nothing is safe from him, Cat ~ "Your taking me shooting right!!"

my pure black half Siamese was found in the wood pile behind the house. She was small enough to fit in a coffee cup. I didn't want another pet after another big old fluffy black had died while I was away but our daughter brought this scraggly calico over and we found she was preggers. We kept her long enough to get the kittens weaned and her and the babies homes. No more I cried! Then this black devil showed up. I think my grand daughter squeezed her too hard as a kitten as she hates to be held or picked up and hides when the GD comes around even today and she isn't a cuddle bug. She will rub against your feet but don' dare try to pet her past the neck. The rest of the family and friends all say she is evil and hates everyone. I say she hated everyone but me and she don't even like me. Even at that after our move three states where she was as good as gold through the snow storms and break downs when I let her out of the travel cage she took off like a streak and we didn't see her for 6 weeks. I was sure she was gone for good and then one night the wife said your cat is coming home tonight and two hours later she was sitting patiently by the door at a place she had never been before. Imagine that.
I have heard two discriptions of the difference between dogs and cats. The main one being Dogs think they are people. Cats know they are. The other being if you had to go away for a couple days and couldn't take your pet by the time you got back a dog will have ate all the food and drank all the water including the toilet bowls and the house will most probably be trashed upon your arrival home to find an over anxious tramatized puppy as with a cat when you get home the cat will look at you like "oh were you gone? I didn't notice". Ah the creatures we take into our lives.

One thing about a Siamese they never forget the average moggie may let things slide eventually given enough love and caring not so the Siamese they like their brethren the Tonkinese and the Burmese are a highly strung type of cat and getting on the wrong side of them is at your own peril. But they reciprocate with untold affection.
"The Boss has taken to 2:00am playing with his toy mouse dropping it on my face or my wifes face in our bed at this hour or doing screamers around on top of our bed doona for something different, tell ya he is the terror.
