    Leaf Sight Alignment Tool

Found this in a box. Has anyone ever used one? It's in Ruth's first book.

I've got one but I don't know how to use it.
Mine is stamped "M1R" on the drop down tab at the rear.

    BobbieG,
Wouldn't it be easier for you to list what you don't have?
Join your and JimF's collections and the 'Don't have' list would be very short.

Is it warm and dry down there in Nigeria?

    Mine is MR1 as well.

What surprised me was nobody comment on the serial number. It's my lowest Underwood.

So...the idea is to scribe an index line for centering the sight?

According to the picture it looks like you scribe the receiver. Now, does anyone have an M1icon carbine with a scribe mark on the receiver as in the illustration?
