    1917 Colt 1911

    I thought the board might be interested in seeing this 1911 that I recently picked up at an estate sale. Records show that it was part of a shipment of 1000 guns to the Philippines on 18 April, 1917.

    Gorgeous example, congrats.
    I always tell my collector mates to put originality at the top of their priority list, originality isn't something that can be restored. I've never seen a 1911 I didn't like.
