K98 rear sight scale and actual change in MOA

Ok so I set out to see if I could figure out the actual MOA change for each rear sight setting.
I set up my dial indicator and tried my best to get the readings and figure some stuff out. Not sure if I'm on the right track. I also tried to figure out the MOA change based on the best info I could find for ballistics of 8mm ammo the Germans might have used.
Now does anyone know what the actual MOA change is for the K98icon.?
From what I understand .005" is apox 1" change at 100 yards

I really don't know how do this correctly and I am just looking for a rough idea of the changes per graduation mark on the rear sight to help with calculating adjustments for shooting cast.
I tried posting my video but for what ever reason I cant get any more videos up ?

You can easily enough figure the change in POI :

(ETA: Apologies for the "........"! Text wouldn't line up otherwise.)

Sight height change = POI change
    .....Sight radius.......... Target distance

    So,

POI change = (Sight height change) X (Target distance)
    ............................................Sight radius

Just keep your units the same for each variable! Since you are working with inches, stick with that, i.e., a 0.005" change in the rear sight will go with a 3600" target distance (assuming 100 yards) and whatever the sight radius is to the back edges of the front and rear sights. Call it 20", subject to verification.

    Zo,

    POI change= (.005" X 3600")/20" = 0.900"

Looks like slightly under 1MOA for each 0.005" change. (Noting that 1 MOA is very slightly more than 1" at 100 yards! 1.047", I think)

I'm in agreement with jmoore's methodology, having just done a similar exercise on a Lee Enfield No 1 MK III* to work out required changes to foresight blade to bring into zero.

May I add one small point to assist, or perhaps confuse? The Germans graduated their rifles in metres, not yards.

    100m = 109.361 Yd
    100 yd = 91.440m

As stated in previous thread, just maintain consistent units and you will have an accurate answer (i.e. all measurements in inches or millimetres.)

You're on the right track with your initial set up, so keep at it!

I did convert the m to yards for my attempt to calculate.
I knew one to calculate what amount of movement or change in sight height will change the MOA
When measuring the rear sight much of the results did not make sense or add up...mainly do to some inconsistent readings and the lack of better equipment.
What I eventually did was use balistic software to get a idea of the changes.
