    Mauser 1871 ser. # ????

Would any one have some info on Mauser 1871 ser.#'s . Not the carbine . I pic up a 1871 marking Gegr Mauser Co. Oberndorf 1878 ser.# 41 H . . And does have a Tai stamp
(Tailand ) on the top of the receiver. The ser.# is kind of low & never seen any 1878 Mausers ser.$'s lower the 4 #'s. I do have some pics but PB is out for me. Thanks for any help.
