    303Collector,

The L42A1 rifle serial number L30484 you are interested in, was batch number 20 of a total batch size of 31 sent to Donnington building 69/671 on the 5th October 1971.
    Hope that helps
    Gil

Ha Ha...................no it wasn't you it was a PM I got.
JUST FOR INFORMATION OF ALL MEMBERS & USERS

I will NOT be answering ANYMORE queries on rifle numbers fro anything ENFIELD or PARKER HALE unless it is posted on the OPEN forum so that other members can see the results for obvious reasons. Please DO NOT ask on PM's.
I have noticed that those asking on PM's are one off posters and thats not how this great site works.........................if you want to use it.......... participate............if not go and pay for what we provide, as it costs nowadays, as no Government department in the UKicon can afford to work for nothing, and the reason why Simon, myself and a few sacred others, provide this service for FREE!!!
As we emjoy to test OUR eyesight on thousands of numbers in small text!!

If you would like to make a donation as a CONTRIBUTING MEMBER that would be good too, you even get recognised by Doug next to your name, and something to be proud of....THE BEST SITE OUT THERE FOR THE ANSWERS YOU SEEK IF YOU OWN A GUN ......or more importantly going to go out and buy one! This site WILL save you money.
Thanks off my soap box now.
