    M1 Winchester Operating rod values

It is time for me to break up my 40+ year collections. I have somehow managed to obtain several M1icon operating rods over the years, for which I have no use. I want to divest myself of most of my collectables, however have not watched the markets for years.

Here are two Winchesters for which I need opinions (all are at least VG+ to Excellent):

    D35382W.R.A.; UNCUT; Slant; .526 Piston
    D353282-W.R.A.; UNCUT; Slant; .526 Piston

    Thanks for the help!

    Here You Go..

    Searched: M1icon Winchester Operating Rod

A Completed Auction search on Ebay brings up these results:

M1 Winchester Operating rod | eBay

Pretty much nothing here on Gunbroker completed auctions results, comes back as the Rods Catch:

    http://www.gunbroker.com/All/Complet...rame=1&Sort=13

P.S. I believe Ebay selling fee is 10% of the final value (sold) fee. Plus add Pay pal fee. I believe it will total 15-18% IIRC. Others can help better than I. Part that P!ssed me off with them is they figure in and take from your shipping fee, thought you might like to know. Up to 50 (?) listings are free, depending on category. Usually gun parts list free IIRC.

You might want to check the CMF "for sale" forum under M1icon Garand, they appear to sell at higher prices and you are dealing with Winchester collectors.

Also you might want to show photos of the rear cam surface and tap for wear.

An early uncut 1941 Dulite color Winchester op rod is also worth more than the common parkerized op rod

If your Winchester op rods are all in specs (front piston and rear tap) and without relief cut and not refinished the price range could run around $350 to $400 each

If you have the Dulite color you could add another $50 to $75

Another data point, and this is a relief cut rod

There was an un-cut Winchester operating rod sold on the CMPicon "for sale" forum about six weeks ago for $299, there were some problems with condition and
some pits on the rod, but it sold.
