I have just bought this "match sight" for my LE No9 .22

I was rather expecting a PH No4 (first pic ) sight but that's not what i have. Can anybody ID it

    Eddie

Looks like the cheap and cheerfully converted No4 sight that P-H used on the L81 Cadet rifle. At its kindest, I'd have to say that it was a total waste of time on the L81 and now useless for your No4 too

I've seen guys around here trip over each other to buy one when available just so their rifle is "Correct"...good to know there's no need.

Fortunately I paid peanuts for it which just goes to show you get what you pay for.

Fortunately I also saw a PH 8/53 on eBay and got that at a bargain basement price so all is well!

    You live and learn.
