Just about everything but the rear sights and handguards are interchangeable but minor to major fitting may or may not be required.

The barrels, upper bands, and front sights are also not interchangeable, but can be made to fit.

    John,

I knew there was something I would leave out! But I have seen too many rifles with the front sight and bands made to fit. On the barrels, I didn't explain in detail, I assumed MIL rifle1 was interested in replacing "small parts" and not building a rifle from a box of parts as Vi Shooter did.
