    No1 Mk3 Enfield what a "goods" price.

Now that I'm almost done with my 1903 Springfield, I'm looking at finding and buying a No1 Mk3 Enfield or maybe a Mk4 not sure. I don't want to repeat the same mistakes I did in pursuance of my 1903. Any ideas on what sort of price range should I be expecting for a rifle rated "Good"

    Thanks

    Bill

I'd think you'd need to show us on a piece basis. Every rifle has different merit...

From $350-$650 with the majority of matching examples being around $450-500

Within the past few months I purchased a matching enfield made No1 Mk3 1918 for like $600 shipped (maybe 50 too much) with a very nice bore. Last month bought an all matching No 1 Mk3 LSA for $450 made in 1911 and refurbed in 1941 with a very nice bore.

Good point Jim, it entirely depends on what your collecting criteria are, originality or shootability.

Lots of small things don't make mention during sale if you don't know to tell or ask. Those can make the world of difference in value or not.

I've seen prices every where on the map on Gunbroker; The Mosin Create was selling them for $500.00 ($499.99) last week... Almost bought one but didn't want to pull the trigger without knowing more first.

I'm looking at this Enfield on Gunbroker seems to have all that I'm looking for.

That one there maybe near its top in price. Buyer states bore is pitted. Doesn't mention if it is all matching nor does he show the receiver number that I can see. It is a Indian Enfield. Personally I wouldn't buy that one. If I did I wouldn't pay more than $300.
