shows, events, and meet ups?

im talking with badger via pm and he suggested I consider posting events here. anyone know if a topic thread already exists? should I post events as they come up and let them drift down? I don't see any event stickys.

ok, it looks like badger is suggesting we put them on the calendar.
this thread could act as an alert to something just posted up on the calendar that might be of interest to the viewers.
