Happy 49th Wedding Anniversary To JimF4M1's

    HAPPY 49th

Jim met a gal in 1966
On his 2nd date he took her to Val's a 50's style diner in Hayward, California
Usually busy with a line outside, he'd wait for the last seat (his seat) at the counter in front of the grill. Having his usual 1lb Papa burger, basket of fries, onion rings and old style milkshakes with 2-1/2 glasses of ice cream in the cup

Married that gal on 7-31 in 1968
Spent 68, 69 and 70 in Viet Nam

Still together today, making it 49 years

I Can't imagine what Barb has put up with. So she must be a obvious keeper or have a 'Fetish for the Curmudgeon Type'
My hat is off to (her) I mean, to the both of you....

Congratulations to your 49 years together..........

    With Our Best Wishes,

    Charlie and Edye

Congrats to you both on a grand milestone.

I am well behind you'se guys at a paltry 24 years funny thing is my wife predicts me like a clock yet I am still bamboozled by her wiley ways as she just loves to take the pi$$ out of me at every opportunity whether friends are there or not, guess womenfolk may be considered the 8th wonder of the world with all of us men thinking "wonder what they think about?"

Congrats to you both and wishing you many more happy returns.

Cinders, i think that may be a thing with Australianicon women. Taking the pi $$ out of me is one of my wifes favorite pastimes.

Congrats Jim, My wife and I just celebrated our 44th anniversary.... Our first date was December of 1972, drinking beer around a bonfire on the beach south of Santa Cruz... (Back when you could actually do things like that on California beaches before they became "protected environments" only available to look at and even walk on in certain places)
