    Thanks for sharing the pics Kev, interesting that this ex NZicon piece is US Property marked.

    Would These have been procured from US stocks during the Vietnam involvement?

    Or were the initial examples procured that way followed by direct contract purchase's during the 1970's?

    I believe they were a 'purchase' or maybe 'gifted' for operations during Vietnam. Typically the rifles found in New Zealandicon are Colt XM16E1, Colt M16A1 and Hydra-Matic M16A1 rifles. Serial numbers range between 614xxx - 3348xxx
