Identifying 1903 Springfield Handguards
Hi Rick/All, Sorry to keep pestering you guys but I still can't figure out how to identify a 1903 Hugh Hump -VS- STD. I've looked at picture and just when I think i've got it... I don't... or i'm just not sure. I when around looking for 1903's in Gun Stores too see the difference but sadly most had 1903a03.
I picked up two handguards that look different than the ones I currently have as the top slot wider and shorter and the hump shape is slightly different (less round) can you help me identify these? I really appreciate the forums patience with me..

I go almost completely by profile - take a look at the handguard on this 605,000 range M1903. Compare the profile of the receiver end of the handguard with those you have:

Hi What exactly does Concave high hump profile profile mean? is the Concave on the side or is that the top where it tapers down?
I have these four that I thought might be high hump but after looking at the rifle picture I'm not sure,I think no?...
