Help Needed No. 4 MK 2 Mag

    Hello All,

I am looking for a .303 Enfield No. 4 MK 2 magazine. The original serialed mag was lost in a car crash (no one was hurt thankfully). I have searched the internet but have not found a mag i trust will work, I have heard mags can be touchy.

Anyone know a good USAicon based site where I can get a mag for this rifle? Original would be best, but would settle for a trusted known to work aftermarket if thats the only option.

    Cheers.

Magazine, .303 Cal., 10 Round | Gun Parts Corp.

Once you get a magazine, you need to adjust the angle of the feed lips to get consistent feeding. Each rifle and magazine has to be individually fitted. Search this site for details on how to do it

Also you can try BDLicon ltd, he's a member here on the forum. He'll have something I'm sure.

A while back I picked up a No4 mag off Ebay that was billed as "NOS" Canadianicon-Long Branch. I've seen the seller offer several more since, though not in a few months. Anyway, what showed up did indeed appear to be genuine NOS; no wear, the little stylized LB on the back of the mag body, and a little B in a circle on the follower. Needed the little flat spring in the front, though (also available NOS on Ebay). Functions great. I see other "genuine" (i.e. not repro) No4 mags pop up on there fairly often. Usually in the range of $45-$65.

My LB No4 from BDLicon had a slight hickup feeding on its first trip the range; the slightest tweak to one of the magazine feed lips fixed the issue and it's been fine ever since.

Magazines are all individually fitted to the nuances of that particular rifle. That's why we fit them and number then afterwards
