    Anyone tried this ammo ?

Seen this carbine ammo, so looked in to the maker.

Makers name is Precision ONe Ammunition.
I think it's the same company that sells on GB using the seller name of OneShotAmmo.. but not positive.

I came across a number of heated 'Debates' about this ammo on different forums like S&W... etc. Many complaints from ammo bought from their gun show sales.
Sounds as though 1 major item is trying to tell the difference between reload and new made by the way the boxes are marked..... among other complaints.

Here is a auction showing the product: http://www.gunbroker.com/item/684052060

Any thoughts or experiences with it in any cal. ?

    Thx,
    Charlie-Painter777

Is this not factory ammo? If it's reloaded they should have to tell you?

I haven't tried it, but suspect they are still going through an "adjustment" period much like BVAC did - probably rapid growth, changes in management, etc. The price looks too high, but maybe about right for GB. I bought 500 rds. of boxed S&B in a new 50 cal. GI can for $180 here in OR at a show this summer. Do a search for American Quality Ammo as a comparison. I know quite a bit about the background of that company - and not all of the past has been good. Now, I trust them enough that I bought a 250 rd. bulk pack of their .30 Carbine at the same show for $80. I believe that's the same as their on-line price. I checked several rounds for OAL, bullet diameter, etc. and it looks good, but haven't fired any yet. With the cost of components now, those prices are hard to beat. I think the ammo described on GB is made from "all new components." - Bob

I would call them assemblers and not makers. They don't make anything that is their own. New brass from another maker. New Bullets from another makers and the same with powder and primers. They may have started off as reloading using fired brass in other calibers but because of the lack of ammo under our last Pres, have made enough to expand. The problem they will face soon is that the demand for ammo has dropped dramatically. Major ammo companies are laying off employees with Federal just letting 150 more people go. Too many people horded a lot of ammo under O'bama and now don't need to buy much if any.

Crossed Cannons... Sounds like it's 'Their Factory'.

    Assemblers using NEW components.
    Re-assemblers using Recycled components.

No information on their web site for Ballistics. Curious as to how hot the Carbine is loaded.

I'm one of those, when we had huge shortage about 8 years back or so, I gathered all I could for powder and primers and have enough to furnish a small factory still...long time before I even buy .22 ammo, unless it's a good deal.
    Regards, Jim
