    bnz 98k.

Here i have pictures of a 44 bnz. Is this just a typical run of the mill capture? Here are all visible markings. I've heard that these could possible be SS contract rifles. I see nothing that would make is one of those rifles, but i am no expert. Thanks

It's not a Russianicon Capture but other than that, no idea I'm not a K98icon specific collector. Looks like a bring back of some sort. To determine that, check to see if all the numbers are matching. An RC would be blued with an X stamped on the receiver or barrel. They essentially made them like new.

Your BNZ is a Steyr made rifle . It is the Polish made BNZ 's that have the SS connection . But by 1944 the SS was in the mainstream supply line and they got weapons from all sources .
