Need to Identify/find/buy 1903A4 Redfield Scope Mount Screws

Thanks for coming by my thread. I recently bought a 1903A4 that came with a scope mount but no screws. I am looking for help with identifying the screws that I need to get.

    I bought this rifle

    And then these rings

And a repro M84 scope from Keep Shooting

I'd like help identifying these screws. I believe that these are the last two pieces except for getting my rings parked.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

you need smaller color case hardened screws.. the screws for the new made bases will destroy your rings.
    FYI.
    rings pictured are commercial.

I would check the junk drawers of the gun part sellers at your local gun shows. You can often find a Redfield Junior one or two piece base with those screws. They could be blued and will have to parkerized to match your M1903A4 scope base.

I don't think those rings will work with an M84 scope. I believe that you need rings that are split horizontally, not vertically.

OK, thanks gentlemen. The scope has arrived in the mail but the rings have not so I will have to narrow down the scope of my problem after I have all the pieces together.

Thanks for letting me know that I've got some bad assumptions. I'll generate another plan and come back after my rings get here.

Redfield Junior rings came in both 7/8 and 1 inch rings. The Redfield Junior bases are common to both.

I believe Redfield rings were 3/4 or 7/8 (not 1 inch). My point is that I don't think you can mount an M84 in vertically split rings (unless you were to remove the sunshade and eyepiece from the scope first)

You probably don't want to take an M84 apart; it's a sealed scope that, hopefully, contains an inert gas.

It is possible to use 1 piece rings to mount an M84. However, it requires you to spread them (with a huge amount of force), effectively ruining the rings, & then use some heavy duty tools to bend them back around the scope.
