Now with a few minutes time...
This revolver feels great. My 29 was already very good, but this one is of a different level.
Completely hand fitted, no plays, perfect blueing.
    Tight and sharp.
Great DA, fabulous SA trigger. Light and crisp.
The checkering over the barrel is simply artistic.
If nothing comes in between, tuesday I’ll test her.
    I bet she’ll shoot great!

I didn’t even argue about the price.

Very nice! My 8-3/8" 27 and 29 pair are the same (although my 29 shows a bit of use). My 27 also has the Patridge front sight.

all 8 shooters stopped firing and looked at us with the Mayor of Hiroshima look!

Hilarious Ron, 460 Weatherby Magnum rifle should go with the following statement, "Caruthers bagged his first elephant of the day". That mate, is a proper rifle!

Sorry to bother you again on this topic, but yesterday I brought my son to the range and had him try the 29 with target loads. Heavy ones, but no magnum.
The smile and comments of your teenage son shooting a Smith & Wesson 29 for the first time (after shooting a .22) are priceless. For all the rest, there is Mastercard

Hardly a bother...after all you're just preparing him for later days on the rocket range...when he's older.
