    pommel markings on m4 bayonet

Got this m4 imperial bayonet ab out 6 months ago. In good condition leather handle.
The Pommel was painted with thick black paint so I could not see any markings on it. So Today I got out the acidton and started cleaning and now can see the markings. It has a Large S Below the "Star" looks like an A (Very top of A is covered by the Star) And a 6 by the rivet or screw for the locking device.

Sorry hard to see the A is just above the S and to the left

Everything I have seen says the pommel should be S P?

Can't make out any detail. Use the macro setting and hold it really close, let the focus do it's job and the pic will be perfect.

THANKS. took a few times but I got it. Also it is way better than my reading glasses. I can now see the P in the S. wow. So anything on the Partial A and the 6? Inspection marks? Also you can see remains of the paint next to the 6 that is light the rest was thicker and blob on.
