    Stevens Model 416 WW2 22 cal rifle

I bought this Stevens 416 back in the 1990's as I wanted the Lyman 438 scope that was attached to this rifle, besides the scope, I got a fine example of a WW2 22 cal rifle. It is very accurate with an elaborate rear sight that is unique only to this rifle.

In doing some research, I found that Stevens only produced just over 10,000 rifles in 1943 and some are blued while other can be found parkerized, also rebuild stamps and other military stamps. The trigger can be adjusted by the screw in back of the magazine - but you first have to remove the rear sight, remove the bolt then adjust the trigger pull !Attachment 87825Attachment 87826Attachment 87827Attachment 87828Attachment 87829
