Enfield No 2 Mk I Mainsprings In Stock

I have an Enfield No 2 Mk I that is in need of a mainspring. I keep checking all the major parts folks every few weeks to see if any have been made or found. Alas my search has paid off! APEX has them now. I purchased 2 in case another one pops up that needs one in the collection. So I was not a bastid and didn't buy them all. The nice gal at the desk informed me they have 7 left. So if any are in need give them a call.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Spring arrived today and now my No 2 Mk I is up and running. Peter I broke the revolver down and cleaned it all internally. I now know what you mean that these can be tricky and a pita. Will post photos later of the mainspring that was in the gun. That was some back yard gun smith work at it's finest
