Baby Poop On An Enfield No 2 Mk I*

Folks I have seen the baby poop camo on FN rifles but never on a revolver. Markings on revolver MWD on right side and what appears to be SBG or SRG on butt. Has anyone ever seen this type of camo on a revolver? Any thoughts?

I think it's just the remnants from a paint job.

Jim someone must have thought it had a certain African connection. And if it does or should say did that is pretty cool.

Hard to say just what it has done, just looks to me like it took a good scrubbing with steel wool and that's what remains...after mineral spirits... I'd clean it completely but many wouldn't. I just don't like the paint...that was used for protection.
    Regards, Jim

Yup Rhodesian! Just found another with same markings but no paint. Even the font on the butt numbers was the same. Mismatched and brought that kind of money.
