    No32mk1 with no date?

Received this scope recently and there is no date engraved.
    Was this common?
    Can someone date my scope?

Some manufacturers dated No32's & some didn't. HBMCo stopped dating theirs very soon into production. I have only ever seen two of theirs that were in the first fifty of the first production run, that were dated (1941). Yours is from the second run &, at a guess, probably dates from around early to mid 1943, though I stand to be corrected.

Hard to post links. I believe they are different rifles. No 4 T with matching serials but replacement fore end and a 1944 BSA with no bracket and scope.

Sorry guys I haven't been here in a while,
    Both rifles are sold.

The rebuild was not part of the sales and never will be!

I sold those to fund some renos but also picked up true gen that I will be starting a thread on soon.

Was this just a general inquiry or were you interested in buying?

I'm not finished fitting the stock yet and actually have not touched it since getting those pad threads cleaned up....
