    No? You've NEVER heard that in over 50 whole years? Well, I can tell you for a fact sir that my finger, which was always a Colt .45 and those of my childhood friends ALWAYS made the Pew Pew sound. Phew Phew was reserved for Laser cannons.

    My Finger Colt also makes a distinct “pew pew” sound.
