Unhappy Need help with CMP forum

I am the proud owner of a SA M1icon rifle from the DCM in 1986. I have visited the CMPicon forum several times & finally joined the 3d of this month (November). The site recognizes my login name & password, but I am unable to post anything. I have sent several e-mails to the administrator & received no response. I tried posting on the "new member introduction" section and am unable to.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a secret handshake, de-coder ring, or something else that I am unaware of?

I had that problem too! IIRC, I was able to use the PM function to get it straightened out.

CSP used to be a very active gunboard

Now it seems to be primarily a political comentary board where no opinion goes unexpressed. I don't know where all the 'gun folk' went but I miss the gun discussions.

Used to be a member years ago until they changed their format and all my info was lost. So I rejoined in the early part of 2017 and could not access the forum for at least 2 months. I made several attempts to contact the administrators especially after people were getting access within days of joining but no one responded.
After I finally got access I immediately got buyers remorse. I guess I didn't show proper obeisance to the gun gods. Haven't been back since.
    I like this forum better.

OP was asking about CMPicon, not CSPicon...

This forum is great/ no complaints at all. I just thought I'd try CMPicon, but thanks to your responses, I see that maybe they're just too busy to be able to handle more members....or something.

On this forum I really enjoy going back and reading all the old M1icon rifle posts. I'm on about page 40 of 144. Lot's of good information & pictures. Thanks
