A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Please try posting some more photos. Both sides of the receiver and wrist etc.
The only thing that looks odd to me is the No1 type magazine.
I'm no expert on the No4T so will differ to our more knowledgeable colleagues regarding the scope.

    It's just a mismatched scope.
    nice rifle, enjoy shooting it.

As he said before, you could consider putting a #4 rifle mag in it though. That's for a #1 rifle...mag... Mismatched rifle/scope isn't unusual. Still a valuable rifle...looks good too.

If I'm not mistaken I am reading 36.202 on the receiver ring, and the same number on the mount. To be able to tell if the scope was "mismatching", shouldn't we be able to see the serial number on top of the butt stock? Probably the scope is original to the mount and just the butt stock was swapped?
