    Ebayer Arrested for selling Silencer

Advertised as a 6" muzzle break. Description includes: that it gives off a nice low tone.
BATF and USPS share the credit in the arrest.
    Tough way to make $65.

I often wonder why we don't hear more about arrests with all the M2 carbine parts being listed, most I've ever seen. Someone has flooded the auction sites with new made M2 unmarked cast trigger housings. The other needed parts are often sold in 2-3 part lots.

    JMO,
But I guess they have to investigate long enough to get the kids through college before a bust is made.

A stupid description isn't a decibel meter. We know look a like suppressors aren't illegal and this isn't even that if you ask me. This idiot was already under the Feds thumb and he's just being reminded who's boss. This guy's mistake was not laying low for the five year probation. Being that he's under probation it's easy for the Feds to twist his nipples. When Big brother has his boot on your neck he doesn't like you giving him the one finger salute.
No way a warrant would be issued over this thing but the Feds didn't need a warrant because he's on probation.
He'll get off on this charge but he's going to get locked up on the first charge and it's going to cost him which is the whole point of this charade.

Might be wrong, but I think it would make a very loud report when attached and weapon fired. No holes that I can see in either end. Kaboom!

It's drilled through. The table can be seen a tiny bit on the far right.
I wouldn't want to be the guy selling Maglite flash lights or Fram oil filters. Those are suppressor bodies if you're on probation.
